About Iranian American Society

Founded by a group of compassionate women in 1991, the Iranian American Association (IAS) is now California's most revered resource for domestic violence of victims of Iranian and Near-Eastern descent and for recent Iranian immigrants arriving in the U.S. without any means.

Our Mission is

- To raise awareness of women’s issues and provide assistance to victims of domestic violence and people in need.
- To award need- and merit-based scholarships to graduating high school students and current college students.
- To preserve and promote Iranian culture and customs and to present them to the community at large to foster better understanding.
